Our 2026 salary survey found that the EMEA region saw the biggest improvement in salaries across all disciplines and seniorities, for the second year in a row, generating a 7.8% increase in salary average throughout 2025.
In Europe, a senior software engineer could earn between €31,000 – €90,721, while in North America, they could earn between $70,000 – $160,000.
