Results from the 2022 AM Salary Survey showed that the EMEA region saw the biggest increase in salaries across all disciplines and seniorities in the additive manufacturing industry – they saw a 10% increase in salary on the previous year.

In Europe, a 3D printing application engineer could earn the following:

  • A junior application engineer could earn between €34,000 – €68,000
  • A senior application engineer could earn between €40,000 – €87,000
  • A lead engineer or manager could earn between €60,000 – €119,000

In North America, an employee in the same discipline could earn the following:

  • A junior application engineer could earn between $38,000 – $75,000
  • A senior application engineer could earn between $52,000 – $91,000
  • A lead engineer or manager could earn between $70,000 – $125,000.

Of course, this is also dependent on location, company size and experience.

In Europe, a 3D printing sales professional could earn the following:

  • A junior sales professional could earn between €25,000 – €70,000
  • A senior sales professional could earn between €38,000 – €104,000
  • A sales manager could earn between €56,000 – €140,000

In North America, an additive manufacturing sales professional could earn the following:
