We are supporting a leading automation organisation on a long-term assignment within one of Belgium’s most advanced pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Siemens PCS 7 Automation Engineer to become a key technical expert supporting a live production facility within a highly regulated GMP environment. Rather than a project commissioning role, this position focuses on continuous operational support, system optimisation, technical ownership and change management within a critical manufacturing operation.

- Support and maintain an existing Siemens PCS 7 environment.
- Perform impact assessments and evaluate the effect of software changes on interconnected systems.
- Implement software modifications and automation improvements.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation.
- Work closely with Quality, Validation and Operational teams.
- Support change control processes within a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
- Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting and operational support.
- Participate in FAT/SAT-related activities and qualification documentation where required.

- Strong Siemens PCS 7 experience
- Experience within Pharma, Biotech or Life Sciences manufacturing
- Understanding of GMP-regulated environments
- Experience with validation documentation, impact assessments or change control
- Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
- Ability to understand software dependencies and the wider impact of system changes
- Dutch language capability
- Interest in a long-term assignment rather than short-term project work
What’s Different About This Opportunity?
This isn’t a typical commissioning assignment.
The successful engineer will become a trusted technical advisor within the customer’s operational team, supporting a multi-year programme and working on systems that directly impact pharmaceutical production. The emphasis is on technical ownership, documentation quality, communication and understanding how automation changes affect a validated manufacturing environment.
Interested?
If you have Siemens PCS 7 experience and a background in Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical or Biotech manufacturing, I’d be happy to provide further details on a confidential basis.
