Finance Lead | Early-Stage Advanced Manufacturing / Defence
We’re looking for a Finance Lead to build and scale the finance function of a rapidly growing, venture-backed advanced manufacturing company.
This is a true foundational hire. You’ll take ownership of finance from day one, moving the business from spreadsheets and manual processes to a professional, scalable finance operation. You’ll work closely with leadership on forecasting, cash management, investor reporting, fundraising support, and long-term financial strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Build the finance function from the ground up
- Own financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management
- Implement reporting processes and KPIs for management and investors
- Manage banking and external financial relationships
- Support fundraising activities, investor relations, and board reporting
- Develop financial models and scenario planning
- Recruit and build the finance team as the company grows
What We’re Looking For
- Strong FP&A, finance, transaction services, investment banking, or Big 4 background
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, engineering, aerospace, defence, chemicals, or other complex operational environments preferred
- Excellent financial modelling and forecasting skills
- Hands-on, execution-focused mindset with the ability to create structure from scratch
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Fluent German and English

Location: Near Hannover (Onsite)
Salary: €80,000-€90,000 + Equity + Bonus
