The case
The company were expanding their European sales and service team and asked for our assistance in helping to identify and introduce a new country technical support engineer to cover Germany. One of the key requirements for the role was to find people who were technically minded and capable of operating printers but would also be comfortable in a customer facing environment.

Although originally reluctant to consider candidates from academic backgrounds we were able to present a compelling case for a really talented engineer and through several interviews he was successful in securing the role. Since joining the business the candidate has now been promoted to lead and grow the European service and applications team and has been instrumental in the building of the company’s strategy, even visiting Japan on several occasions.
